Congratulations. These four steps get your free first year of membership started, help you plan a ceremony that fits, thank a mentor, and find your place in the Spaatz community.
1. Activate your free first year
Your first year of annual membership is free when you activate within 365 days of earning the award.
- Open the membership form and choose the New Spaatzen option.
- Enter your current contact and award information.
- If TSA already created a record for you, email SecretaryTeam@Spaatz.Org instead of submitting a duplicate.
2. Plan your ceremony
Your ceremony should reflect what the award means and the path you took to earn it. Coordinate the plan with your CAP leadership.
3. Thank a mentor with the Torch Award
Pick the person whose example, encouragement or instruction shaped your journey, write a few lines about their impact, and order the Torch Award items. Many recipients present it right after their own award.
4. Find your place
The award marks a shift from preparing to serving. Pick what fits your time:
- Share advice with cadets preparing for the exam through Journey to Spaatz
- Volunteer for a committee, event or history project
- Send ceremony photos, records and stories to TSA
- Support scholarships, grants and leadership programs
- Come to the Midwinter Gala and other gatherings
- Request your free @spaatz.org email with the Google Workspace form
